TWICE is back with their 13th mini-album, ‘Bloom Within’, and it’s a warm, nostalgic dive into emotional synth-pop. Released on April 14, 2025, the EP consists of five tracks, with the title song “Petal Rain” already making waves across streaming platforms.

“Petal Rain” opens the album with delicate piano notes and builds into a shimmering chorus about resilience and hope after heartbreak. The vocal layering is a highlight here—Nayeon’s bright tone contrasts beautifully with Jihyo’s full-bodied delivery and Mina’s delicate phrasing.

The second track, “Daylight Call,” leans more into retro disco influences, reminiscent of their “Feel Special” era but more refined. It’s a song that radiates joy, complemented by breezy synths and a catchy post-chorus hook.

“Out of Time” slows the pace with a melancholic R&B vibe, featuring English lines and whispery ad-libs. Dahyun and Chaeyoung shine here, especially with their softer vocal stylings.

“Bloom Within” isn’t trying to chase trends—it’s a cohesive, emotionally resonant album that leans into the group’s maturity and lyrical growth. TWICE proves once again they can evolve without losing the heart of what fans love: sincerity, beauty, and strong vocal performances.
